I use this for warmth on the couch, and it does that very well. Its other purpose is to tie together some colors in the room. The colors as represented on the website turned out to be exactly right. That was critical and I appreciate the accuracy.

I let my two little friends pick their own throws on line as we couldn't find anything in the stores. The 4 year old is wild about animals, especially elephants. The 6 year old picked the dinosaur throw. I also purchased matching placemats. The kids like sitting down to eat and they love sleeping with their own blankets. Washing and drying was easy. Probably not warm enough for our winters, but they can still use them with another blanket on top and still be warm and cozy.
